A Guide to Bharat Mobility Global Expo for First-Time Exhibitors
Building across Bharat Mandapam, Yashobhoomi and IEML: the rules that shape your stand
Each venue has its own technical regime. Bharat Mandapam and Yashobhoomi are modern flagship halls with generous height and strict access discipline; IEML Greater Noida is large, flat and built for big island stands and double-deckers. Working across them means three sets of build-up schedules, contractor arrangements and access windows, so the venue choice shapes the whole plan.
Power is sanctioned through each venue's official electrical contractor against a declared load, and for vehicle reveals the lighting and power loads run high — we calculate and order early to avoid peak-build surcharges. Vehicle access and ramps, turntables and floor loading need designing in; FR-treated materials with certificate and fire NOC are filed before move-in; and anything two-storey needs a structural-stability certificate from a licensed engineer. Finishing is completed off-site because in-hall fabrication is limited.
NCR logistics are tight in peak season across all three venues. Freight runs roughly 1,400 km by road from our Mumbai facility, so crating, vehicle handling and convoy timing decide your build week; we schedule to land inside each venue's access window.
What a winning mobility stand needs
The brief splits by audience. For a reveal stand, the work is presence and theatre — a clean platform, strong lighting, a turntable or ramp, and unobstructed sightlines so the vehicle and the press photograph well. For a component or mobility-tech stand, the work is capability and sourcing — clear category messaging, real parts and cutaways under good light, certifications visible, and meeting space for the procurement conversation.
We design to whichever job your venue and goals demand, and we plan vehicle handling — access, ramps, floor loading and turntable engineering — into the build from the start, because a vehicle awkwardly placed or unsafely loaded undoes an otherwise strong stand.
Designing for OEMs, component buyers and policymakers
Component and EV-tech buyers walk Bharat Mobility with sourcing mandates, so a B2B stand has to qualify them fast: a clear statement of your parts, systems, certifications and capacity, then a path to a seated conversation about tolerances, lead times and quality. Reveal stands serve a different master — press, public and OEM leadership — so we design the photo line, the reception point and the branded backdrop for the coverage that matters.
Where ministry and VIP visits are expected, we plan the protocol — a reception point, a branded backdrop and a calm space for the conversation — because at a show with this level of government presence, the protocol is part of the brief.
What a Bharat Mobility stand costs
A turnkey SOL stand at Bharat Mobility runs from ₹1.8 lakh for a focused 9–18 m² Essential presence, from ₹4.5 lakh for a 24–48 m² Regular build with display and meeting space, and from ₹12 lakh for a 50–100 m²-plus Premium reveal platform, island or double-deck build. The figure is all-inclusive — design, fabrication, graphics, lighting, road freight to the NCR, install, dismantle and each venue's paperwork — with only the organiser's floor rental outside it.
What moves the number is a vehicle reveal platform with turntable and high lighting loads, heavy floor loading, a double-deck lounge or a working demonstration. What you do not pay extra for is flooring, material handling and electrical fit-out — those sit inside the turnkey figure.
Stand sizes and layouts
Stands run from compact 9–18 m² supplier spaces to 100 m²-plus islands and reveal platforms for OEMs and majors. The layout follows the venue: a reveal-led plan with a hero platform and photo line, or a sourcing-led plan with product display up front and meeting space behind. Open, corner and island positions help you be seen across a busy multi-hall show.
Whatever the size, we present vehicles and components safely and light them well, because a clean, well-lit display is the quality signal both a consumer camera and a procurement buyer respond to.
Getting into the NCR venues: build-up timing
Each of the three venues runs its own tight build-up and access schedule, and services book up early across all of them. We confirm your build slot, coordinate the relevant venue's contractor for power and the connected load, plan vehicle access and floor loading, and time the Mumbai-to-NCR freight so the stand lands inside its access window — finished and ready for the first visitor.
Because a multi-venue show multiplies the moving parts, we lock the venue, contractor and freight plan in from day one.
Reusing your stand between editions
Bharat Mobility is now annual and automotive brands exhibit across the domestic and international auto circuit, so a modular reusable stand is strong value. We store the core in Mumbai, refresh graphics, vehicle mounts and capability display for each edition, and keep your venue and contractor orders on file — so the next edition is a refresh, not a rebuild.
Common mistakes, in order of frequency
- Designing the stand before fixing the venue — the three NCR venues demand different builds.
- Improvising vehicle ramps, turntables or floor loading instead of engineering them in.
- Under-ordering lighting and power load on a reveal stand.
- A B2B sourcing stand with no meeting space, or a reveal stand with a blocked photo line.
Getting Started
Send your stand size, your hall and stand number once the organiser has issued it, and a short note on what will physically happen on the stand. You get a 3D design and an itemised all-in quote, at no charge and with no obligation.
