A Guide to Poultry India for First-Time Exhibitors
Building at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad: the rules that shape your stand
HITEX is Hyderabad's principal exhibition venue — well-equipped halls with good height and its own access and marshalling discipline. The hall you're allocated shapes the build, so we design to the specific space rather than a generic assumption.
Poultry and feed equipment can be heavy, so floor loading and safe mounting are planned in early. Power is sanctioned through the venue's official electrical contractor against a declared load (including any equipment demonstration), ordered ahead to avoid peak-build surcharges. All materials are FR-treated with certificate and fire NOC filed before move-in, finishing is completed off-site, and two-storey builds need a structural-stability certificate from a licensed engineer.
Hyderabad logistics are manageable from our base: freight runs roughly 710 km by road from our Mumbai facility — a moderate leg — so crating and convoy timing are straightforward, and we schedule to land the stand inside its access window. Equipment that arrives separately is coordinated into one access window.
What a winning poultry-industry stand needs
The stands that win at Poultry India display real equipment or product and make the result legible. We design clean, well-lit display for equipment, feed or health products with proper, safe mounting for heavy items, clear signage on efficiency, capacity and results, and a seated area for the buying conversation. Where a working demonstration helps, we design it in with the power and space it needs.
Results and efficiency are decisive for a farming and integrator audience — feed conversion, output, animal health — so we give those clear placement, and keep the message legible so a farmer or integrator grasps what the product delivers before they reach you.
Designing for farmers, integrators and feed buyers
Buyers walk Poultry India with operations and capacity needs, so the stand has to qualify them fast and then talk specifics: a clear statement of your equipment, feed or health product, its efficiency and results, a demonstration where useful, then a conversation about specification, output, price and service. We design the path from the display to that conversation, because at a result-driven show the proof earns the meeting and the meeting earns the order.
We keep the message specific to your domain — housing and equipment, feed and machinery, animal health, hatchery, processing — because an integrator and a feed manufacturer want different proof, and a precise product-and-result statement is found far faster than a general 'poultry solutions' one.
What a Poultry India stand costs
A turnkey SOL stand at Poultry India runs from ₹1.8 lakh for a focused 9–18 m² Essential presence, from ₹4.5 lakh for a 24–48 m² Regular build with equipment or product display and a meeting area, and from ₹12 lakh for a 50–100 m²-plus Premium island, double-deck or heavy-equipment build. The figure is all-inclusive — design, fabrication, graphics, lighting, road freight to Hyderabad, install, dismantle and the venue paperwork — with only the organiser's floor rental outside it.
What moves the number is heavy equipment floor loading and demonstration, meeting-room enclosure, or a double-deck lounge. What you do not pay extra for is flooring, material handling and electrical fit-out — and because the Hyderabad freight leg is moderate, the logistics line is lighter than on an NCR build.
Stand sizes and layouts
Stands run from compact 9–18 m² spaces for health, additive and component suppliers to 100 m²-plus islands and double-deckers for major equipment, feed and processing houses. The layout puts equipment or product where the aisle sees it, plans safe mounting and circulation for heavy items, and keeps a meeting area for the buying conversation. Corner and island positions help on a busy regional floor.
Whatever the size, we present and light equipment and product well, because well-presented, results-focused product on a clean stand is the quality signal a poultry buyer reads before any conversation starts.
Getting into HITEX: build-up timing
HITEX runs a tight build-up and dock schedule, and services book up early in the November window. We confirm your build slot, order power and any demonstration load through the venue contractor before the deadline, plan floor loading for heavy equipment, and time the Mumbai-to-Hyderabad freight so the stand and any equipment land set and ready for the first buyer.
Because equipment often arrives separately, we coordinate the stand and the equipment into one access window rather than reacting to them on build day.
Reusing your stand between editions
Poultry and agri brands exhibit at Poultry India and the regional agri and livestock circuit across the year, so a modular reusable stand with re-deployable display is strong value. We store the core in Mumbai, refresh graphics and product display for each edition, and keep your power and handling orders on file — so the next show is a refresh, not a rebuild.
Common mistakes, in order of frequency
- Under-planning floor loading for heavy poultry and feed equipment.
- Generic 'poultry solutions' messaging with no efficiency or results figures.
- No meeting area on an order-driven regional floor.
- Treating equipment and stand as one delivery and losing time on build day.
Getting Started
Send your stand size, your hall and stand number once the organiser has issued it, and a short note on what will physically happen on the stand. You get a 3D design and an itemised all-in quote, at no charge and with no obligation.
