A Guide to Toy Biz International B2B Expo for First-Time Exhibitors
Building at the NCR venue: the rules that shape your stand
Toy Biz runs at major NCR venues — the India Expo Mart (Greater Noida) or Pragati Maidan (New Delhi) — each with its own access and marshalling discipline. We design to the specific venue and hall allocated, because heights, grids and loading differ.
For a product-display-heavy stand, we plan bright shelving, plinths, display walls, play areas and lighting that present a wide range cleanly and safely (rounded edges and safe demo zones matter for a toy audience). Power is sanctioned through the official contractor against a declared load (including any AV or powered demos), ordered ahead to avoid peak-build surcharges. All materials are FR-treated with certificate and fire NOC filed before move-in, finishing is completed off-site, and two-storey builds need a structural-stability certificate.
NCR logistics are tight. Freight runs roughly 1,400 km by road from our Mumbai facility, so crating and convoy timing decide your build week; we schedule to land the stand inside its access window — finished and ready to merchandise the range.
What a winning toy stand needs
The stands that win at Toy Biz are bright, brand-led and built around play. We design colourful, energetic product display — styled shelving, hero product, a play or demo area where buyers can experience the toy — with clear brand presence and a comfortable hosting area to talk distribution. Safety and approachability matter on a toy floor, so we design safe demo zones and rounded, family-friendly detailing.
Play and brand energy are the message here: a buyer assesses play value by seeing the toy in action and the range by how it is merchandised, so we make the play visible and the range scannable, then keep hosting space ready for the listing conversation.
Designing for distributors, retailers and e-commerce buyers
Buyers walk Toy Biz with range and listing decisions, so the stand has to show the play and then host: a demonstrated, experienceable range, then a conversation about ranges, margins, MOQ, safety, licensing and distribution. We design the path from the play to that conversation, because at a listing-driven show the play and the range earn the meeting and the meeting earns the listing.
We keep the message specific to your category — toys, games, educational, juvenile, licensed — because a toy distributor and a juvenile-products buyer want different things, and a focused, playable range is engaged with far faster than a crowded one.
What a Toy Biz stand costs
A turnkey SOL stand at Toy Biz runs from ₹1.8 lakh for a focused 9–18 m² Essential presence, from ₹4.5 lakh for a 24–48 m² Regular build with bright range display, a play/demo area and hosting space, and from ₹12 lakh for a 50–100 m²-plus Premium island or double-deck build. The figure is all-inclusive — design, fabrication, graphics, lighting, road freight to the venue, install, dismantle and the venue paperwork — with only the organiser's floor rental outside it.
What moves the number is an elaborate play or demo area, extensive range display, bright theming and lighting, or a double-deck lounge. What you do not pay extra for is flooring, material handling and electrical fit-out, which sit inside the turnkey figure.
Stand sizes and layouts
Stands run from compact 9–18 m² spaces for specialist brands to 100 m²-plus islands and double-deckers for major toy and juvenile-product houses. The layout leads with a bright play or hero moment where the aisle sees it, keeps range display scannable and demo areas safe, and sets a hosting area for the listing conversation. Corner and island positions, brightly lit, help a brand stand out on a busy, colourful floor.
Whatever the size, we make the stand bright, playful and well lit, because on a toy floor the energy and play experience of the stand are read directly as the appeal of the range.
Getting into the venue: build-up timing
The venue runs a tight build-up and marshalling schedule, and services book up early. We confirm your build slot, order power and any demo load through the official contractor before the deadline, plan shelving, play areas and lighting, and time the Mumbai-to-NCR freight so the stand lands inside its access window — finished and ready to merchandise the range before the first buyer.
With a ~1,400 km road leg, we build the freight and merchandising plan in from day one rather than on move-in week.
Reusing your stand between editions
Toy brands exhibit at Toy Biz and the regional toy and gifts circuit across the year, so a modular reusable stand with re-deployable display and play fixtures is strong value. We store the core in Mumbai, refresh graphics, range and play display for each edition, and keep your contractor orders on file — so the next show is a refresh, not a rebuild.
Common mistakes, in order of frequency
- A box-on-shelf stand with no play or demo on a play-driven floor.
- Unsafe demo zones or sharp detailing on a family-friendly floor.
- A cluttered range a buyer can't scan and assess.
- No hosting area for the listing-and-distribution conversation.
