Careers and internships at SOL
We design, fabricate and install exhibition stands from our own Mumbai workshop. If you like a hard deadline and a result you can walk around at the end of it, tell us what you do.
What it is actually like here
SOL Brand Solutions designs, fabricates and installs exhibition stands from our own workshop in Mumbai. That shapes the work more than any job description does: the designer who draws a stand is in the same building as the carpenter who cuts it, and both of them are on site when it goes up. There is nowhere to hand a problem to.
Show floors do not move. You would be working on the stands in our portfolio and the shows on our exhibitions list. A hall opens on the morning the organiser says it will, whether or not the truck was late, and that gives the work a rhythm you either enjoy or you do not. The people who last here are the ones who like a hard deadline and a visible result at the end of it.
Who we tend to hire
Across design, client servicing, production and site work, the same things matter:
- You would rather flag a problem early than hope it resolves itself.
- You can hold a deadline that is set by someone else and cannot be argued with.
- You are willing to be on a show floor at eleven at night a few times a year.
- You take the finish seriously on the sides nobody photographs.
Exhibition experience helps and is not required. We have hired from retail fitout, interior design, print production, events and straight out of college, and trained from there.
Internships
We take interns in design, client servicing and production, and we would rather you spent part of it on a show floor than all of it at a desk. Tell us what you want to learn and how long you have, and use the same form.
How the process runs
Your application goes to the person who would manage you, not to a queue. If there is a fit you will hear from us; if there is not, we will tell you rather than leave you wondering. For design roles bring a portfolio — built work counts for far more than renders. For production and site roles, tell us the shows you have worked and what went wrong on them, because that is the more useful conversation.
Apply
One form for every role and for internships. A CV helps; a portfolio of built work helps more.
